The Gumbo/Chili Fest is: An Annual Fundraiser,Saturday before Lent for Live Up Art,Inc.Purpose of the Gumbo Fest;is to provide a family oriented event,with a festive atmosphere,in the Midtown Gary Community, and to serve as our major fundraiser. By sponsoring this type of festivity it gives us an opportunity to show who we are,what we are about,demonstrate to businesses and other community leaders we are an organization worth supporting. This event shares a cultural dish that generates discussion and tentillates the sophisticated pallets of food connoisseurs and novices alike. Gumbo,there's so many different types and everyone who knows how to prepare it,think theirs is the best.
